We aren't suggesting you betray company secrets, but a clear "Ballpark" salary figure is definitely of use when looked at through the objective of placing and paying for an advertisement... attracting applications.

We find that it gives us an insight beyond the CV and often see a spark or a point of interest that was'nt immediately apparent on their CV.

Most Candidates in 2026 Don't.


But Some do.


A Contact Name and Number so that they can call with questions ahead of their application or follow up (We LOVE it when they do that, it shows a great deal about their professionalism and displays a genuine interest in you and the role and gives an insight into how they will represent your business if successful) is always something that we recommend, it bookends the advert nicely with the closing offer to take a call if they wish to discuss... the natural instinct is always to assume that you will be bombarded with calls, generally this isn't the case in our experience... and as stated, you will see who ticks that box of interest and professionalism is you do!
