The Role

We are looking for a professional and personable Sales Estimator to be the face of Corfloors. 

You will bridge the gap between our showroom and our customers' homes or sites. This isn't just about measuring; it’s about providing expert consultation, building trust, and relationships.

Key Responsibilities

● On-Site Consultations: Visit residential and commercial properties to conduct accurate measurements and in-depth surveys.

● Expert Advice: Guide customers through our premium range of carpets, vinyl, and solid flooring, offering technical advice on subfloor preparation and material suitability.

● Precision Estimating: Calculate material quantities and labor costs to provide competitive and profitable quotations using the most up to date software.

● Sales & Relationship Management: Follow up on inquiries and leads, maintaining Corfloors' high standards of customer service to secure contracts.

● Project Liaison: Collaborate with our award-winning fitting teams to ensure they have all necessary details for a seamless installation.

● Sustainability Advocacy: Advise clients on our eco-friendly flooring options and our responsible removal/recycling programs.

Requirements & Skills

● Experience: Proven experience in flooring estimation or sales is essential.

● Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various flooring types and subfloor preparation (LVT, carpet and vinyl, Engineered Wood, ply, latex etc.)

● Communication: A friendly, professional manner with the ability to explain technical details and material advantages clearly to customers.

● Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to recording measurements and site conditions.

● Driving Licence: A full UK manual driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points) is essential.

● Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Devon and Cornwall region is a plus.
